Becoming Jackson Whole develops and empowers leaders in civic and community service, education, health, and business with the mindfulness-based skills, tools and resources necessary to address personal, professional, and societal issues. This effort is part of the national Mindful Cities initiative.
Jackson Hole Center for Meditation
A group formed to explore the idea of creating a spiritual space in Jackson Hole. Also offering annual meditation events with Anam Thubten with the Dharmata Foundation.
Mindfulness for Mamas
A mindfulness and wellbeing practice group at St. John’s Episcopal Church to build relationship amongst mothers in our community. Meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 11:45 am in Hansen Hall.
A mindfulness community in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh. Sitting and walking meditation offered along with reading and discussion. Meets on Thursdays at 6:30-7:30 pm at St. John’s Episcopal Church.
Teton Sangha supports silent meditation and dharma study in the Vipassana Tradition. Those wishing to cultivate compassion, wisdom and awakening are welcome. The sangha offers weekly meditation groups and retreats, including an annual, multi-day fall retreat.
