Welcome to breath by breath, my home base.
Breath by breath also highlights meditation resources and mindful exploration in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Much of my wondering and writing focuses on the question of how our ordinary lives can be experienced as extraordinary. As part of that exploration, I’m currently engaged in a two-year training with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach via The Awareness Institute, Center for the Greater Good at Berkley, and SoundsTrue to earn a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher certification. I share insights from that program, too.
During the day, I serve as the Marketing Director for the inspiring creatives at the nonprofit Art Association of Jackson Hole. I’m also a co-instigator and now a participating partner for the Art Association of the Wildly Creative collaborative marketing campaign to to include arts of all genres in the Jackson Hole narrative.

I also recommend checking out Sara Flitner’s mindful cities initiative Becoming Jackson Whole, a project with the audacious goal that the majority of Jackson Hole residents will be proficient in emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and civility by 2037. Through this project, Jackson Hole, WY along with Flint, MI and Boston, MA, was announced as one of the first three Mindful Cities supported by The Foundation for a Mindful Society.
Other interests that I sometimes write about include clean energy and green building, exploring Jackson Hole, outdoor pursuits like backcountry skiing and hiking, and mindful travel. I’m trained as a RYT-200 yoga teacher, Mindful Schools certified, and recently completed a Udacity Nanodegree in Digital Marketing, as well as a Nonprofit Communications Director program.
